"The Class with Class"

Welcome to the EDHS Class of 1969 Website

East Depot High School (EDHS) was constructed in 1923 and began in 1866 as LaGrange Academy. East Depot provided education for African Americans in Lagrange. EDHS closed in 1970 when it merged into LaGrange High School. The purpose of EDHS was to train future leaders of our country. EDHS had a never ending belief in their students and faculty which has led its graduates to be recognized as top leaders in their chosen fileds and professions.

At EDHS, students flourished in a kind and supportive environment where teachers helped students to reach their ultimate academic potential and succeed in achieving their goals.

Our Alumni

EDHS produced many outstanding alumni with careers in education, business, law, medicine, religion, science, the arts, government and the Armed Forces. Those alumni remain active members in the LaGrange community and throughout society as a whole.
